Publication requirements
Scraped or imported codes enter RBXSITE as needing review. A code does not become a verified published code until a reviewer confirms the code text, reward description, game association, and current status. Codes without a reliable added date are not labeled as new.
Active and expired codes
An active code is one our review process indicates should still be redeemable. An expired code is retained for reference so players can distinguish old codes from working ones. Game updates, regional rollouts, account restrictions, or redemption limits can cause individual results to differ.
Freshness
Indexable code pages require at least five verified active codes and a manual game review within the previous 14 days. The visible codes-reviewed date comes from that review record. Automated freshness checks create a review task but do not rewrite the public date.
Community voting
Signed-in users may report whether a code worked for them. Votes are a supporting signal, not a substitute for editorial verification, and protections are used to limit repeated voting. A success rate can vary when a code expires between scheduled reviews.
Report a problem
If a published code is incorrect or has stopped working, use the page voting controls or contact us through the corrections page. Include the game, exact code, and what happened during redemption.
