Multiply the price by 0.7 and round down to whole Robux. Under this calculator’s 30% fee model, a 1,000 Robux sale leaves you with 700 Robux.
After tax = floor(price × 0.7)
Rounding matters for small amounts: a 5 Robux sale gives an estimated 3 Robux payout, with 2 Robux deducted.
From desired earnings to a price before tax
Divide the amount you want by 0.7 and round up. To receive 1,000 Robux, set a price of 1,429 Robux. That is the smallest whole price that meets the target under this model.
Before tax = ceil(target ÷ 0.7)
Adding 30% does not cover the fee: charging 1,300 Robux would leave 910. The fee is calculated on the full selling price.

When does the 30% Roblox fee apply?
Roblox documents a 70% creator share for your own passes sold in your game. This tool estimates that case. Passes sold through another creator’s experience can have an affiliate split, so the amount the pass creator receives can differ. Read Roblox’s pass revenue-share rules.
Avatar items and Limited resales have different commission structures. Marketplace avatar sales can also use a progressive revenue share. Use the rules for the specific transaction rather than applying this calculator to every sale. Check Marketplace fees and commissions.
Enter the actual sale price if regional pricing changes what a buyer pays. This calculator does not look up an account’s regional price. How regional pricing works.
Roblox before and after tax FAQs
What is 1,000 Robux after tax?
A 1,000 Robux sale yields 700 Robux under the standard 30% fee model. If you want to receive 1,000 Robux instead, the required sale price is 1,429 Robux.
How much should I charge to receive 700 Robux?
Charge 1,000 Robux. The estimated deduction is 300 Robux, leaving exactly 700. Whole-Robux rounding does not change this example.
Does “Roblox tax” mean income tax?
No. This page calculates a Roblox platform fee in Robux. It does not calculate government income tax, VAT, sales tax on Robux purchases, or deductions from a cash payout.
Can I use this for donation games?
Only if the transaction gives the recipient the modeled 70% share. A pass sold through another creator’s game can include an affiliate commission. Check the sale’s revenue split before using a 30% fee estimate.
Should I calculate several sales together?
For an estimate that accounts for whole-Robux rounding, calculate each sale first and then add the payouts. Combining small sale prices before rounding can give a different result.
Does this tell me when pending Robux will arrive?
No. The results estimate a payout amount, not its release date or availability. Check your Roblox transaction history for the status of a sale.
